I have done much research about everything from the 911-coverup to the dangers of vaccinations. I have literally spent thousands upon thousands of hours seeking for the truth. I own over two thousand books.

I love to teach. I love to share with others the things I have learned, in hopes that their eyes will opened to the truth

Unfortunately, MOST people that I speak with don't want their eyes opened. It's a curse upon America, people don't like to face the facts. People don't like to leave their comfort zone. No one who is comfortable likes change. This is called complacency (being contented to a fault, being self-satisfied without concern). The average American is a lazy thinker, often critical of others who do think and stand up for what is right.

I am disgusted beyond words with the oft made statement "You can't believe everything you read." I would be the first to agree, but it is absurdity to use that as a blanket statement to invalidate EVERYTHING you read. What these people are really saying is..."I don't want to believe ANYTHING that you are saying." The same holds true for things we see over the internet or on TV. I hear people often say "You can't believe everything you find on the internet." If you have even a little sense and desire to know the truth, then you are aware that the internet is the BEST source of accurate news available. The major TV networks and CNN are all highly monitored by the FCC (a government department). All of the news we hear on TV is censored, edited, distorted, and watered down. When someone does slip some truth in (like Dan Rather), he gets castrated by the higher powers.

The average American citizen is woefully complacent, living comfortably, and could care less what is going on in Washington. There's a saying "If you give the devil an inch, he'll become a ruler." Well, the federal government has become that devilish ruler because we gave them too much power. The arrogance of the American people will be their downfall. America is headed for a great fall.

We have become a stiff-necked people, turning a blind eye to the blatant evils being committed by our own government. I wish every American would have lost their life's savings and retirements like those unfortunate Enron employee's did. Why?, because then there would have been enough angry victims to bring about justice. Those Enron employees were cheated out of their life's savings while the government and the rest of America could care less. Very few people raised a ruckus, not enough to make a difference. That's what America desperately needs, for millions of U.S. CITIZENS to raise a ruckus! What is a ruckus? Glad you asked. A "ruckus" is "The act of making a noisy disturbance." This is our First Amendment right, to peaceably ASSEMBLE and PROTEST our government. So why aren't more Americans exercising their right? Sadly, because they don't care, they have become indifferent.

But you say, "You can't believe everything you read or see over the internet." No, but you're a complete idiot if you don't believe any of it. Think about it, everything you believe is the result of things you have either seen or heard (things you have perceived through the five senses). So using your argument, I guess we just shouldn't believe anything. What is truth? Who decides what is truth? It is our individual duty to our country and our personal responsibility , to do our best to seek and the truth and to act accordingly.

You need to believe some of the things you read. You need to believe some of the things you find over the internet. People are appropriately sometimes referred to as "sheeple." Did you know that sheep are very dumb animals? They really are. The wolf on the other hand is cunning and crafty. Sheep are the perfect unsuspecting prey for any hungry predator.

Most people don't want to believe that 911 was an inside job. This would make them VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. After all, if they did believe such a thing, most of their family and friends would think they were a nut, a conspiracy theorist. There have been conspiracies by the billions throughout history. One of the biggest lies ever fabricated was that there are no conspiracies. Folks, conspiracies are an inherent part of mankind's nature. Anytime two or more people get together and plan to do wrong, they are conspiring. The deaths of nearly 3,000 American citizens on 911 was the result of a conspiracy involving the Bush family, the Bush Administration, the Bin Laden family, the global billionaire elite, and others. Only a fool who is wearing blinders would say that the Bush administration wasn't involved in carrying out 911. It was president Bush who signed Presidential decision directive W199i to protect the terrorists. It's been in every publication from the Wall Street Journal to the Washington Times. I guess you can't believe this either.

Why would George Bush sign presidential directive W199i to block the FBI and defense intelligence from investigating the terrorist? Several FBI and CIA agents have actually filed lawsuits against the Bush Administration for obstruction of justice and abetting terrorists (their lawyer is nationally known, David Schippers). David Schippers is right, he said "Once you've had license, tyranny is next." What is license? "License" is "Freedom to deviate deliberately from normally applicable rules or practices; Excessive freedom; lack of due restraint." George Bush signed legal documents to protect the terrorists...It's the smoking gun of 911. Wake up sheeple!

John O'Neill, former FBI Deputy Director resigned because he felt that the U.S. administration was obstructing the FBI and their attempt to stop Al-Qaeda. Why doesn't O'Neill go public now? He was murdered! John O'Neill started his first day on the job as Security Director of the Trade Towers in New York City, and was killed that very same day...911! These criminals are so blatant.

And what about World Trade Center building 7, it was never hit by a plane. So why did it perfectly crumble to the ground on the afternoon of 911? The answer is disturbing. The building owner (Larry Silverstein) admitting publicly in an interview that the feds asked him for permission to "pull" his building ("pull" is the slang term commonly used by demolition crews to detonate a building). They pulled his building alright, and World Trade centers 1 and 2 as well. The engineer who designed the Trade Towers (as well as architects from around the world) have stated that the Trade Towers were designed to withstand a plane impact. The evidence is overwhelming that those buildings on 911 were demolished by the use of carefully positioned bombs throughout the buildings. And we know for a FACT that building 7 was detonated.

Folks, I could go on for hours. The things I have just shared with you are FACTS, not conspiracy theories. You can't just blindly brush it all away. You can't just say "You can't believe everything you read." I beg you as your fellow American CITIZEN to at least investigate the FACTS and be honest in your heart. I am disgusted at the excuses I hear from people all the time. I recently told a man about Congressman Ron Paul and the HUNDREDS of articles which Dr. Paul has written exposing the coming police state and violations of our constitutional rights. The man simply invalidated Ron Paul by saying that all politicians are liars. Do you see what I mean? People who have never spent even ten minutes investigating the truth will just arrogantly and foolishly explain it all away with some ridiculous copout statement.

It's sickening! Anyone trying to expose 911 who is selling something is being discredited. Folks, just because someone is making a buck off something doesn't mean it's a lie. It may be; but how do you know unless you've investigated it, read the books, watched the videos, and spent some time thinking things through. Oh I see, it's just much easier to accuse those people of "saying anything for money." Alex Jones does sell his videos, but he openly tells ALL his listeners and customers to make all the copies they possibly can and distribute them freely. He doesn't sound money hungry to me. You'll never hear Michael Moore say any such thing because he is out to make a buck. By the way, though I like the Fahrenheit 911 Video, Alex Jones' 911 -The Road To Tyranny is much better in my opinion. Besides, Michael Moore is pro-Democrat. He's a part of the problem because he promotes the Democrats (which are as corrupt and evil as the Republicans). Michael Moore is simply leading people to an equal evil.

You need to believe some of the things you read my friend, because we are in a pot of water that is headed for the boiling point. By the time the blinded, complacent, careless, irresponsible, immoral, and arrogant American people realize what is really happening...they will be slaves to the New World Order. The police state is coming. Surveillance cameras are popping up everywhere. The are popping up everywhere. The interment camps are already here. The Government is recruiting your neighbors to spy on you. America is headed for massive bankruptcy. Social Security WON'T be there for you. You're children are about to be forced to undergo mental-screening. And to top it all off, we've got a heathen phony for President of the U.S.

Your Milk on Drugs: The Dangers of rBGH in Dairy Products

Although banned in most other industrialized nations due to the health risks to humans and harm to the animals, Monsanto’s genetically engineered bovine growth hormone (rBGH or rBST) is still injected into dairy cows in the US to increase milk-production.

So why was rBGH approved for use in the US? The approval of rBGH in our country is a story of fired whistleblowers, manipulated research, and a corporate takeover of the US Food and Drug Administration. US dairies responding to the health concerns of consumers by not injecting their herds, now battle with Monsanto for their right to label their milk as rBGH-free. The Health Hazards in Milk from Cows injected with rBGH

Milk from rBGH-treated cows has much higher levels of IGF-1, a hormone considered to be a high risk factor for breast, prostate, colon, lung, and other cancers. IGF-1 levels in milk from treated cows with rBGH can be up to 10 times higher. Studies suggest that pre-menopausal women below 50 years old with high levels of IGF-1 are seven times more likely to develop breast cancer. Men are four times more likely to develop prostate cancer. IGF-1 is implicated in lung and colon cancer.

Milk from rBGH-treated cows with its heightened IGF-1 levels also likely increases the rate of fraternal twin births in humans. In the United States, the number of fraternal twins grew at twice the rate as that in the United Kingdom, where rBGH is banned.

Milk from cows injected with rBGH also has lowered nutritional value, increased antibiotics and more pus from infected udders. Cows given rBGH experience higher rates of mastitis, a painful udder infection. When treated with antibiotics that are also used for people, bacteria resistant to these antibiotics end up in the milk, air, soil and water, resulting in increased antibiotic resistance in humans, a major health problem.

Dairies Responding to Consumer Concerns are Running Away from rBGH

Within the US, many school systems have banned milk products from injected cows and dairies have refused to inject their cow with it. But a milk carton from Maine’s Oakhurst Dairy stating, “Our Farmers’ Pledge: No Artificial Growth Hormones” became the subject of controversy when on July 3, 2003 the dairy was sued by Monsanto over their labels. Oakhurst eventually settled, agreeing to add a sentence saying that according to the FDA no significant difference has been shown between milk derived from [rBGH]-treated and non- treated cows. But it’s a statement that is not true. Both Monsanto and FDA scientists had acknowledged the increase of IGF-1 in milk from treated cows. Higher amounts of pus and antibiotic residues in the milk were noted are as well. This misleading addition to the label was written by the FDA’s deputy commissioner of policy, Michael Taylor, previously Monsanto’s outside attorney who, after running policy at the FDA, became vice president of Monsanto. Could this revolving door between Monsanto and the government regulators (i.e. the movement from positions as biotech leaders to government policymaker and back again) be the one of the reasons why the FDA isn’t protecting US consumers?

Monsanto and the FDA

In the late 1980s, one FDA scientist was fired after expressing concerns about possible health problems related to dairy products from rBGH-treated cows. Other like-minded FDA scientists at the FDA had been stripped of responsibilities or forced out. Remaining FDA whistle-blowers had to write an anonymous letter to Congress, complaining of fraud and conflict of interest at the agency. In 1998, six Canadian government scientists testified before their Senate that they were being pressured by superiors to approve rBGH, even though they believed it was unsafe. They also testified that documents were stolen from a locked file cabinet and that Monsanto offered them a bribe of $1-2 million to approve the drug. Monsanto responded to the Canadian Broadcasting Company (CBC) story about the alleged bribe, claiming that the scientists misunderstood an offer for research money. (Eventually in 2005, Monsanto was fined for offering bribes to 140 Indonesians, as the company tried to gain approval for their genetically modified cotton.)

Monsanto tries to muzzle the media

In 1989, Monsanto’s PR firm created “the Dairy Coalition,” a group that included researchers funded by Monsanto, to pressure editors of the USA Today, Boston Globe, New York Times and others, to stop reporting on the health concerns about rBGH.

The potential link between rBGH and cancer was one of the topics revealed in a four-part news series set to air in February of 1997 by a Tampa-based Fox TV station. Just before the series was to air, however, Fox received threatening letters from Monsanto’s attorney, threatening “dire consequences for Fox News.” The show was postponed indefinitely. The reporters who had created the series later testified that they were offered hush money to leave the station and never speak about the story again. They declined. Jeffrey Smith details this fascinating story in his best selling book on the health hazards of GMOs, Seeds of Deception and his video Your Milk on Drugs -Just Say No! 

Progress and New Battles

Over the past few years, several organizations have worked to raise awareness of the rBGH issue, such as the Campaign For Safe Food launched by the Oregon Chapter of the Physicians for Social Responsibility. Getting attention to the rBGH issue was slow at first, but by educating consumers about the health dangers associated with rBGH and producers making rBGH-free brands readily available, we have seen a widespread consumer demand for rBGH free dairy products. Within the last two years, Wal-Mart, Starbucks, Kroger, and about 40 of the 100 top dairies removed rBGH products as consumer concerns reached a tipping point on this issue.

Having failed to gain a complete ban on "rBGH-free" labeling from the FDA, Monsanto has now gone to the state level by claiming the labels are an "unfair restraint of trade" even with the FDA disclaimer. Also, in an effort to turn public opinion their way, Monsanto has been trying to promote rBGH as having a positive effect on the environment. Of course their position is based on the “bad science” that they have perfected.  The reality is that rBGH is anything but green.

The market rejection of rBGH demonstrates that consumers are still at the top of the food chain, dictating the direction of this fight. We expect to see the same tipping point kick GM foods out of the US food supply. Monsanto dumped this genetically engineered drug because snowballing consumer rejection of dairy products from cows treated with rBGH has already driven it out of Wal-Mart, Starbucks, Kroger, and 40 of the top 100 dairies.

Film Review: The World According to Monsanto

How much outrage can a single multinational corporation inspire? How much damage can they inflict? The breathtaking new film, The World According to Monsanto, features a company that sets the new standard. From Iowa to Paraguay, from England to India, Monsanto is uprooting our food supply and replacing it with their patented genetically engineered creations. And along the way, farmers, communities, and nature become collateral damage.

The Gazette says the movie "will freeze the blood in your veins." The Hour says it's a "horrifying enough picture" to warrant "fury." But most importantly, this critical film opens our eyes just in time.

The film is the work of celebrated award-winning French filmmaker Marie-Monique Robin, whose three years of work on four continents exposes why Monsanto has become the world's poster child for malignant corporate influence in government and technology. Combining secret documents with accounts by victims, scientists and policy makers, she guides us through a web of misleading reports, pressure tactics, collusion, and attempted corruption. And we learn how the company systematically tricked governments into allowing dangerous genetically modified (GM) foods into our diet—with Monsanto in charge of determining if they're safe.

Deception, Deception, Deception

The company's history with some of the most toxic chemicals ever produced, illustrates why they can't be trusted. Ask the folks of Anniston, Alabama, where Monsanto's PCB factory secretly poisoned the neighborhood for decades. PCBs are Monsanto's toxic oils used as coolants and lubricants for over 50 years and are now virtually omnipresent in the blood and tissues of humans and wildlife around the globe. But Anniston residents have levels hundreds or thousands of times the average. They all know their levels, which they carry as death sentences. David Baker, who lost his little brother and most of his friends to PCB-related diseases such as cancer, says Anniston kids used to run up to him, report their PCB level and ask, "How long you think I got?"

Ken Cook of the Environmental Working Group says that based on Monsanto documents made public during a trial, the company "knew the truth from the very beginning. They lied about it. They hid the truth from their neighbors." One Monsanto memo explains their justification: "We can't afford to lose one dollar of business."

Monsanto also produced the infamous Agent Orange, the cancer and birth-defect causing defoliant sprayed over Vietnam. It contaminated more than 3 million civilians and servicemen. But according to William Sanjour, who led the Toxic Waste Division of the Environmental Protection Agency, "thousands of veterans were disallowed benefits" because "Monsanto studies showed that dioxin [the main ingredient in Agent Orange] was not a human carcinogen." But his EPA colleague discovered that Monsanto had allegedly falsified the data in their studies. Sanjour says, "If they were done correctly, [the studies] would have reached just the opposite result."

Secret documents stolen from the FDA also reveal serious health effects from Monsanto's genetically engineered bovine growth hormone, called rBGH or rBST. In particular, the amount of a powerful hormone called IGF-1 is substantially increased in milk from treated cows. Samuel Epstein, Chairman of the Cancer Prevention Coalition, says that approximately 60 studies link IGF-1 to "breast, colon, and prostate cancers."

Cancer is also implicated in Monsanto's showcase herbicide, Roundup. According Professor Robert Bellé's research showing disrupted cell division, "Roundup provokes the first stages that lead to cancer." Bellé, who is with the National Center for Scientific Research and the Pierre and Marie Curie Institute in France, says, "The tested doses were well below those which people normally use."

Monsanto has promoted Roundup as harmless to both humans and the environment. But their advertised environmental claims, such as "biodegradable," "leaves the soil clean," and "respects the environment," were declared false and illegal by judges in both the US and France. In fact, Monsanto's own studies showed that 28 days after application, only 2% of the product had broken down. They were forced to remove "biodegradable" from the label.

Above the law

When Monsanto's transgressions are reported to authorities, somehow the company is magically let off the hook.

When Monsanto finally did share information on PCBs with the government, for example, Ken Cook says "instead of siding with the people who were being poisoned, [the government] sided with the company. . . . It was outrageous!" When William Sanjour's EPA colleague, Cate Jenkins, asked the agency to review Monsanto's flawed Agent Orange studies, Sanjour says, "there was no investigation of Monsanto. . . . What they investigated was Cate Jenkins, the whistleblower! They made her life a hell."

When Richard Burroughs of the FDA held up approval of rBGH by demanding more rigorous and relevant testing, he was fired. He says, "They figured: 'Well, if you're in the way, we'll get you out of the way.'. . . One day, I was escorted to the door and told that was it; I was done." Senior government scientists at Health Canada testified that their superiors were pressuring them to approve rBGH and that Monsanto had offered them an alleged bribe of $1-2 million. The scientists were later reprimanded, punished, and eventually "dismissed for disobedience." rBGH was never approved in Canada, Europe, and most industrialized nations.

When Professor Bellé went to his administration "to let the public know about the dangers" of Roundup herbicide, he was "ordered" not to communicate his findings "due to the GMO question lurking in the background." That question about genetically modified organisms was in relation to Monsanto's "Roundup Ready" crops. Monsanto has the patent for 90% of the GMOs grown on the planet, and most of them are genetically modified specifically to tolerate applications of Roundup.

Corporate Coup d'état

Monsanto's past manipulations were mere warm ups compared to the virtual government takeover used to approve GM foods. Author Jeremy Rifkin, President of the Foundation for Economic Trends, says, "I have never seen a situation where one company could have so much overwhelming influence at the highest levels of regulatory decision making."

The problem Monsanto faced was that GMOs are inherently unsafe. They can create dangerous side effects. That was the overwhelming consensus by FDA scientists, according to 44,000 agency documents made public from a lawsuit. But the most important document, FDA's official policy, claimed that GMOs were not substantially different. They were granted the status "Generally Recognized as Safe," even though they failed to meet the normal criteria. Thus, no safety testing is necessary. If Monsanto declares their GM products safe, the FDA has no further questions.

Former FDA biotech coordinator James Maryanski admits on camera that the GMO policy "was a political decision," not scientific. In fact, FDA political appointee Michael Taylor was in charge of the policy. Taylor was formerly Monsanto's attorney and later their vice president.

Monsanto's people regularly infiltrate upper echelons of government, and the company offers prominent positions to officials when they leave public service. This revolving door has included key people in the White House, regulatory agencies, even the Supreme Court. Monsanto also had George Bush Senior on their side, as evidenced by footage of Vice President Bush at Monsanto's facility offering help to get their products through government bureaucracy. He says, "Call me. We're in the 'de-reg' business. Maybe we can help."

Monsanto's influence continued into the Clinton administration. Dan Glickman, then Secretary of Agriculture, says, "there was a general feeling in agro-business and inside our government in the US that if you weren't marching lock-step forward in favor of rapid approvals of biotech products, rapid approvals of GMO crops, then somehow, you were anti-science and anti-progress." He admits, "when I opened my mouth in the Clinton Administration [about the lax regulations on GMOs], I got slapped around a little bit."

Unlike Glickman, FDA's Maryanski tries in vain to convince filmmaker Robin that GMOs are safe and that US regulation is adequate. But Robin had conducted four months of intensive internet research examining declassified documents, leaked internal files, scientific studies, trial transcripts, articles, and first hand accounts of whistleblowers. She was prepared.

In a priceless sequence, the film alternates between Maryanski's assurances and public interest attorney Steven Druker reading formerly secret memos by agency scientists, describing the serious health damage that GMOs may cause. When Robin repeats these same quotes to Maryanski, he resorts to uncomfortable stuttering, stammering, and backtracking. When he ultimately tries to dismiss genetic engineering as completely safe, Robin nails him. She reads to Maryanski his own words from a 1991 memo in which he acknowledged that genetic engineering of a food supplement called L-tryptophan in the 1980s may have been responsible for a deadly epidemic that killed dozens and caused thousands to fall sick or become disabled.

Suppressing evidence of harm, attacking GMO scientists

When Monsanto's GM crops hit American farm fields in 1996, virtually no safety studies had been published. The pro-GM UK government decided to commission Dr. Arpad Pusztai, the world's leading scientist in his field, to design rigorous safety testing protocols that would convince a skeptical public to embrace GM foods. When Pusztai fed GM potatoes to rats, however, they developed potentially pre-cancerous cell growth, a damaged immune system, and inhibited growth of major organs. Moreover, Pusztai's work implicated the generic process of genetic engineering itself as the cause. That is, any GM food already on the market might create the same problems in humans.

When Pusztai went public with his concerns, he was praised for his "wonderful work" by his director at the prestigious Rowett Institute. But according to a colleague, "two phone calls from Downing Street [the home of UK Prime Minister Tony Blair] to the director" resulted in Pusztai's sudden dismissal after 35 years. His protocols were shelved and he was the target of a relentless smear campaign, designed to destroy his reputation while promoting that of GMOs.

UC Berkeley Professor Ignacio Chapela was also targeted after he published evidence that GM corn had cross-pollinated with indigenous Mexican varieties, forever contaminating "the world's genetic reservoir of corn." Just after his research was published in Nature, Mary Murphy and Andura Smetacek began posting false accusations on a biotech forum website, recruiting scientists to inundate the publication with demands to retract the study. When anti-GMO campaigner Jonathan Matthews analyzed the technical headers on the two's emails, he traced Smetacek to a Monsanto computer, and Murphy to their PR firm. The two were apparently fictitious characters created to stir things up. Matthews says, "There's no ethics at all in what's going on here. It shows an organization that is determined to push its products into countries around the world and it's determined to destroy the reputation of anybody who stands in their way."

Monster corn and contamination by design

The film explores an ominous new development in Mexico that has yet to be reported in the scientific literature. Mutated and bizarrely shaped corn plants have been found "along the roadside or in people's yards" or fields. Community organizer Aldo Gonzales says, "They are really monsters!" And whenever analyzed, the monsters turn out to be genetically engineered. Local scientists believe that when GM corn cross-pollinates with traditional varieties, some genetic effect disturbs the offspring.

One Mexican farmer realized the implications. "If we don't manage to stop their spread in our fields, soon we'll be forced to buy our corn seed because our own won't work anymore?" Gonzales wonders if the contamination was intentional. He says, "Contamination only benefits multinationals like Monsanto."

Intentional contamination of another sort appears to have happened in Paraguay, as illegal Roundup Ready seeds were smuggled in before GMOs were approved. Roberto Franco, Paraguay's Deputy Agriculture Ministry, tactfully admits, "It is possible that [Monsanto], let's say, promoted its varieties and its seeds" before they were approved. "We had to authorize GMO seeds because they had already entered our country in an, let's say, unorthodox way."

Once approved, large agribusinesses bought huge tracts and cut down the rainforest to plant vast Roundup Ready soybean fields. The GMOs allow them to spray by plane or mechanical spreader; to farm without farmers. Peasants who had worked the land for generations are forced out—100,000 each year leave rural areas to live in the shanty towns of the cities. In one small farm community that is holding out next to a soy field, sprayed Roundup kills their livestock and crops, and sickens their children.

Destroying farmers

US family farmers also feel the heat. Troy Roush is one of hundreds accused by Monsanto of illegally saving their seeds. The company requires farmers to sign a contract that they will not save and replant GM seeds from their harvest. That way Monsanto can sell its seeds—at a premium—each season.

Although Roush maintains his innocence, he was forced to settle with Monsanto after two and a half years of court battles. He says his "family was just destroyed [from] the stress involved." Many farmers are afraid, according to Roush, because Monsanto has "created a little industry that serves no other purpose than to wreck farmers' lives."

Massive farmer suicides

In many countries where Monsanto monopolizes the seeds of certain crops, they eliminate non-GMO choices to force farmers to buy GM varieties. In India, for example, where Monsanto pushes their pesticide-producing Bt cotton, "there was no non-BT hybrid seed available in the market," says agronomist Kiran Sakhari.

Farmers had to borrow heavily to pay four times the price for the GM varieties, along with the chemicals needed to grow them. In spite of glowing promises of higher yields by Monsanto's ads, Bt cotton often performs poorly. Tragically, tens of thousands of indebted desperate farmers have resorted to suicide, often drinking unused pesticides. In one region, more than three Bt cotton farmers take their own lives each day.

Replacing Nature: "Nothing Shall Be Eaten That We Don't Own"

Monsanto is the world's largest seed company and many are concerned. Troy Roush says, "They are in the process of owning food, all food." Paraguayan farmer Jorge Galeano says, "Its objective is to control all of the world's food production." Renowned Indian physicist and community organizer Vandana Shiva says, "If they control seed, they control food; they know it, it's strategic. It's more powerful than bombs; it's more powerful than guns. This is the best way to control the populations of the world."

The World According to Monsanto is aptly named. It is about Monsanto seeking to recreate the world in its own image, for its own benefit. They intend to replace (and patent) the entire food supply. And since their genetic pollution self-propagates in the environment, it will outlast the effects of global warming and nuclear waste.

Such widespread permanent influence may not be safe with any individual or company. With Monsanto's record, the results can only be catastrophic.

This powerful documentary might just inspire a global rejection of Monsanto's plans for our world. If so, it will be the most important film in history.

Global Starvation Ignored by American Policy Elites

A new report (9/2/08) from The World Bank admits that in 2005 three billion one hundred and forty million people live on less that $2.50 a day and about 44% of these people survive on less than $1.25. Complete and total wretchedness can be the only description for the circumstances faced by so many, especially those in urban areas. Simple items like phone calls, nutritious food, vacations, television, dental care, and inoculations are beyond the possible for billions of people.

 

Starvation.net logs the increasing impacts of world hunger and starvation. Over 30,000 people a day (85% children under 5) die of malnutrition, curable diseases, and starvation.  The numbers of unnecessary deaths has exceeded three hundred million people over the past forty years. 

 

These are the people who David Rothkopf in his book Superclass calls the unlucky. "If you happen to be born in the wrong place, like sub-Saharan Africa, …that is bad luck," Rothkopf writes. Rothkopf goes on to describe how the top 10% of the adults worldwide own 84% of the wealth and the bottom half owns barely 1%. Included in the top 10% of wealth holders are the one thousand global billionaires. But is such a contrast of wealth inequality really the result of luck, or are there policies, supported by political elites, that protect the few at the expense of the many?

 

Farmers around the world grow more than enough food to feed the entire world adequately. Global grain production yielded a record 2.3 billion tons in 2007, up 4% from the year before, yet, billions of people go hungry every day. Grain.org describes the core reasons for continuing hunger in a recent article "Making a Killing from Hunger." It turns out that while farmers grow enough food to feed the world, commodity speculators and huge grain traders like Cargill control the global food prices and distribution. Starvation is profitable for corporations when demands for food push the prices up. Cargill announced that profits for commodity trading for the first quarter of 2008 were 86% above 2007.  World food prices grew 22% from June 2007 to June 2008 and a significant portion of the increase was propelled by the $175 billion invested in commodity futures that speculate on price instead of seeking to feed the hungry. The result is wild food price spirals, both up and down, with food insecurity remaining widespread.

 

For a family on the bottom rung of poverty a small price increase is the difference between life and death, yet neither US presidential candidate has declared a war on starvation. Instead both candidates talk about national security and the continuation of the war on terror as if this were the primary election issue. Where is the Manhattan project for global hunger? Where is the commitment to national security though unilateral starvation relief? Where is the outrage in the corporate media with pictures of dying children and an analysis of who benefits from hunger?

 

American people cringe at the though of starving children, often thinking that there is little they can do about it, save sending in a donation to their favorite charity for a little guilt relief. Yet giving is not enough, we must demand hunger relief as a national policy inside the next presidency. It is a moral imperative for us as the richest nation in the world nation to prioritize a political movement of human betterment and starvation relief for the billions in need. Global hunger and massive wealth inequality is based on political policies that can be changed. There will be no national security in the US without the basic food needs of the world being realized.

By the way, as an aside, given all the reports of success for vaccines in mice (all for a disease which does not yet exist, of course), I found this rather interesting quote:
 
"The good news appears to be, if you are a mouse and we have a pandemic, there are a lot of treatment options open to you.
If you are a human . . . well, you'd still better hope that a pandemic holds off for a few more years.   
Promising or not, most of the experimental treatments and vaccines we are reading about today won't be ready for prime-time (read: human use) for several years at least.  And some may never translate into a practical treatment for humans."

WEAPONIZED AVIAN FLU MAY BE

AS BIG A BUST AS SARS
 

Although some call Avian Flu "SARS with Wings", Bird Flu's apparent fizzle leaves the globalists' scientists looking for ways to put the sizzle back into the "Pandemic steak" they want to serve up for your dinner!  IF there is no Avian Flu pandemic, one reason might be that once the secret is made public, the PTB backs off.  Another reason might be that, despite the belief of those who follow "Scientism" as blindly as the fanatics of any other cult, the strength of the great god "Technology" might be a lot weaker than advertised.  SARS failed as a global (or racially specific) pandemic.  It would appear from the grant some UK scientists have received that Weaponized Avian Flu may be as difficult to get working "properly" as its wingless sister-in-plague, SARS.  Click here (http://www.healthfreedomusa.org/?p=895) to read more.

 
Lies, Damn Lies and Pandemic Statistics

 
We all "know" that the kill rate for Avian Flu's human victims is over 60% and that the kill rate for the 1918 Pandemic flu was "only" 2%.  That implies that the Avian Flu is at least 30 times deadlier than the great pandemic which devastated the globe.  In fact, that's merely more media hype without any basis in fact designed to scare you and stampede you into rolling up your sleeves when the pandemic drums are beating their loudest and marshal law, mandated vaccination and forced quarantine are just around the corner.
 
The reality, totally ignored by the media, is that vaccinating people against the pandemic flu in 1918 actually increased their chances of dying from the flu by a huge margin.  While the kill rate for vaccinated people was 30%, the kill rate for non-vaccinated people was nearly zero. Because so many people were vaccinated, the overall kill rate averaged out to 2%.

                But wait!  There's more!
  
Consider: during the 1918 flu epidemic, even before an intentionally created illness ravaged the planet, flu vaccination was deployed widely.  This plague was caused by a hugely successful biological weapon developed under President Teddy Roosevelt and had the peculiar ability to cause death preferentially in the young and healthy, a highly improbable characteristic among natural pathogens (disease causing organisms).

People exposed to, and infected with, the virus who did not develop symptoms were not counted in the statistics when kill rates were quoted since there was no easy way to measure antibodies at the time.  Therefore, only clinically ill people were included in the counts. That means that we actually have no idea how many people were infected but remained healthy.  This lack of information makes the 1918 Pandemic Flu "kill rate"  totally meaningless. 

For example, if 2 people out of 100 infected people died, the kill rate would, indeed, be 2%. But if another 1000 got the virus, developed antibodies, fought the disease off successfully, developing no symptoms, (and therefore did not die), then the kill rate would be only 2 people out of 1100 or .0018%!
 
We have no meaningful statistics concerning the current victims of South East Asia about how many of their friends, neighbors and relatives contracted the Avian Flu disease but did not come down with disease (that is, were asymptomatic).  The more of them who did have an asymptomatic infection, though, the lower the kill rate of the "deadly" Avian Flu.

Today, antibody testing is quick, safe and painless.  Is there any reason not to have that information?  WHO announced it would be looking into the matter in March, 2005 but that "results were not yet available".  Are they available now?  Why isn't the media tooting this horn, instead of simply banging the "prepare to die - only we can save you" drum?

CIDRAP, The University of Minnesota's Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy noted at that time:

"The two new [asymptomatic] cases are not the first sign that people can contract the H5N1 virus without getting ill or seriously ill. Mild and asymptomatic cases were seen when the virus first jumped to humans in Hong Kong in 1997, Dick Thompson, infectious disease spokesman for the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva, told CIDRAP News via e-mail today. (Six of 18 people infected in that outbreak died.) [Note: this is a 33.3 % kill rate - REL]

In addition, a Japanese man was found to have been infected while working at a farm where a poultry outbreak of H5N1 avian flu occurred in February 2003, though he never got sick, according to news reports in December 2004. [This is a 0.0% kill rate - REL]

The confirmation of asymptomatic cases implies that infections may be more common than previously thought and that the case-fatality rate may be lower. [Emphasis added -REL]The fatality rate for officially confirmed cases has hovered in the 70% range.

Thompson commented, "The CFR [case-fatality rate] had to be overstated. The cases we were sure of were those which were sick enough to go to a hospital and these extreme cases have very poor outcomes. Surely others were infected and either not getting sick or not getting sick enough to seek treatment at a hospital. Factoring those into the CFR has been impossible. We simply don't know the denominator." [Emphasis added -REL]

The media unrelentingly sings the funeral march for hundreds of millions, perhaps billions of people.  But the scientific fact remains that asymptomatic Avian Flu cases have been known for several years.

It is more than a little interesting to note that in the US Government's latest Pandemic Flu Update V, March 20, 2008, the word "asymptomatic" does not appear.  It is also interesting to note that the section called "Medical Counter Measures" begins with a chart showing a US preparedness time line.  The first entry, dated March 2006 reads, "FDA approves Relenza for the prevention of Influenza A and B in children and adults".

Pardon me for being a bit slow here, but what does the commercialization of a so-called "seasonal flu vaccine" have to do with the Avian Flu scare?  Nothing much unless you are building a house of scientific and economic cards to sell vaccines and whump up an excuse to impose marshal law, with all that entails.

Read what Tara C. Smith of the Center for Emerging Infectious Diseases had to say about a November, 2005 paper studying swine flu infection in farmers and meat packers:

"To boil it down a bit, farmers were about 35 times more likely than the control group to react positively to the swine H1N1 virus used--indicating they'd been previously exposed. Similarly for the swine H1N2 virus--13 times more likely. It appears there is a good deal of zoonotic [animal to human] transmission occurring in this population--it's just not manifesting with serious clinical symptoms, so we're missing much of it.

This has implications for what's going on in Asia with H5N1 as well. How many sub-clinical or mild infections are there with that virus? We don't know yet [Emphasis added -REL]--we need good surveillance and seroprevalence studies to address that question. Do these milder infections allow the virus more time to adapt to humans, so that human-to-human spread will become more efficient [and the disease may well be less severe or asymptomatic - REL]? We don't know. It's largely a black box at this point. It also is something that's largely been ignored at the response level...." [Emphasis added -REL]

The fact remains, however, that even in the face of a previously healthy immune system, the vaccination so degraded the body's ability to deal with the infection that the greatest single risk factor for dying of the 1918 Pandemic Flu was not under nutrition, poor health (healthy young people died more often than others) or poor hygiene.  The single greatest risk factor for death was being vaccinated.

According to Eleanora McBean, PhD, N.D., in The Swine Flu Expose, the kill rate for vaccinated people was 30% while the overall kill rate was 2% and in unvaccinated people, death from the virus was virtually unknown.  Immunizations weaken the immune system, sometimes catastrophically.  The 30% kill rate assumes that everyone who was infected showed symptoms of the disease.  That is not how flu infections work, however.  Many people fight the virus off so successfully that they develop antibodies, but never show signs of disease at all.  So the infection rate would be much greater while the kill rate would be a much lower percentage of the whole IF the rate of antibody production had been measured.  

Back in 1918, there was no practical way to measure antibodies although they had been discovered 21 years before.  So only people with symptoms were thought to have the disease.

What is the real kill rate of the current H5N1 Avian Flu when people are infected? Today we have excellent antibody detection methods but the information cupboard is pretty bare on this score.

There is no point beating a dead chicken here, but the point is a very important one. No one really knows what the incidence of asymptomatic infection in humans is.  The higher it is, the lower the "kill rate" and the lower the justification to use scary statistics to justify marshal law. Since chickens and other poultry are being widely reported to be developing asymptomatic H5N1 infections, and since H5N1 started out as a non pathogenic virus for birds and people in the first place, it may be reverting to that status!  

The risk, however,  of marshal law and dangerous vaccination appears to be very high; far higher, we believe, than any risk of death from the H5N1 flu virus, weaponized or not.

Based on the "informal" Sanofi Pasteur tests of their vaccine on Polish vagrants, which have resulted in homicide charges against the participating doctors and nurses, we should be asking, "What is the kill rate of the various vaccines which the US is paying billions of dollars to develop and stockpile? And what can we expect the kill rates in involuntary quarantine centers to be like?"

The human species is quite resilient. So long as we have functioning, nourished immune systems, we have evolved to survive attacks from viruses and bacteria. It is not so easy to take one of those pathogens that have evolved with us, such as the ordinarily quite harmless H5N1 avian flu, and turn them into virulent killers.
 
It may be that those who seek to turn such pathogens into weapons have a much more difficult task than they imagined.  SARS was a huge bust, global-pandemic-wise.

It would appear that the potential for a man-made influenza pandemic may be delayed, at least for the moment, by the inability of the very "best" scientists of the governments' very darkest of projects to effectively weaponize the Avian Flu, despite their "best" efforts.
 
If the pandemic is delayed, thought, because we got the news out and created an information push-back, we need to do much more of same! "Push Back" Works Both Ways

 
"Psy Ops", or psychological operations, are as old as Lysistrata, the aristocratic Greek lady who got the rest of the aristocratic Greek ladies to withhold sex from their husbands until they ended their current stupid, deadly war.  Probably older, in fact.  The warrior's wild cry, fierce mask or helmet and the tales of atrocity and ferocity circulated among the enemy to strike fear into their heats are universal tools used to inspire quaking fear and subsequent victories.  The Psy Ops being used against us, of course, have grown in complexity as our technology and society has grown in complexity.  
 
We are, (at least according to the Globalizers and those who want us to be give up ultimate control not only of our thoughts, but of our bodies as well), supposed to get used to the idea that there WILL be a Pandemic Flu for which it is perfectly reasonable to give up our rights and follow their directions without argument or demur. 
 
Here are some rather troubling examples of how the idea of a pandemic, long predicted before there was a single human case of illness or death from this then-mythical disease, is becoming part of the accepted norm of society.  After all, people tend to laugh when something makes them anxious and then, once that anxiety is resolved, they accept what was initially frightening, minimized by being made "funny" and then adopted as a natural, expectable part of the way things just are.  We are apparently deep in that process.  
 
How much, or how many, of  these (to us) ominous cultural manifestations of "normalized" Pandemic Avian Flu are stimulated by covert Psy Ops funding we have no way of knowing. It certainly would not surprise us, however, if many/most of them were.

Not surprisingly,  CDC's Director Dr. Julie Gerberding, is playing this one both ways.  Let's humanize it, but as she was quoted in a press release on the 90th anniversary of the official outbreak of the mis-named "Spanish Flu", let's make people even more apprehensive: "Complacency is enemy number one when it comes to preparing for another influenza pandemic…. These stories, told so eloquently by survivors, family members, and friends from past pandemics, serve as a sobering reminder of the devastating impact that influenza can have and reading them is a must for anyone involved in public health preparedness."  [And perhaps making you so compliant that you will do what you are told because you don't want to suffer and die the way they did? On a personal note, I find the idea of laughing at and "humanizing" an intentionally instigated global tragedy quite beyond my ken although people who know me will tell you that I have a pretty active, somewhat off-the-wall, sense of humor.  This is not funny and should not be made "homey" by a government up to its eyeballs in making sure that we are frightened and, if they have their way, powerless to protect ourselves and our loved ones.

The furor created by a [supposedly] now-confirmed dissemination of anthrax by a scientist who worked in a US Government lab devoted to weaponizing Anthrax [wait, wait - I thought we did not have any of those left because of our treaty on bio weapons - REL] reminds us that vaccination for (against?) anthrax is something our service men and women have been facing since the First Gulf War and of the damage they have suffered because of it (and its deadly adjuvant, squaline).  [Nearly all second generation vaccines contain squaline.]

The Next Economic Battleground:        Ownership of Deadly Viruses

 
Drugging/Vaccination is wildly profitable, especially if you can get governments to make it mandatory.  So ownership of a pathogen for which the druggin/vaccination is mandated is wildly valuable. 
 
Truth really is much, much stranger than any fiction I have ever read (and my background is in literature studies so I have read a lot of fiction!)
 
The United Nations and World Health Organizations have weighed in on the hottest economic growth area on the planet: commercializing potential plagues like the Indonesian strain of the H5N1 Avian Flu Virus. 

Yes, ownership of deadly organisms is a real windfall for impoverished countries: they are apparently unwilling to give up their deadly "property" to large nations and international organizations.  They fear, with justification,  that viruses will be commercialized into vaccines or weaponized (which may be the same thing) and either sold to them (vaccines) or given back to them gratis (biological warfare/pandemics).

You may recall that in late 2006, Indonesia, home to many of the supposed victims of the H5N1 virus (I say supposed because I simply have no reason to trust the statements or findings of WHO laboratories and their partner labs around the world (see following item for some of the reasons why), said that they would no longer provide viral samples, including  victims' fluids and tissues, to WHO, US labs and personnel.  They said that these samples were either being turned into vaccines which would generate huge profits (accurate) or weaponized for use against countries like Indonesia (which we believe to also be accurate).
 
Indonesia's health minister was given the dreaded appellation "kooky" by the obviously overwhelmingly articulate then-head of the CIA and her allegations were dismissed out of hand.  

However, looked at more objectively, and less derisively, this is now called "BioPiracy" and has become the subject of serious consideration by countries, international agencies and Multinational Corporation alike. I note that it is increasingly hard to tell them apart as things progress, and I am sure you have, too.  This weird and frightening trend of commercializing disaster may surprise you, but think, after all, of the commercialization of cancer, previously the most prifitable disease ever encountered by humanity and you may see a pattern. The Associated Press says: "Comcast Corp., the nation's second-largest Internet service provider, Thursday said it would set an official limit on the amount of data subscribers can download and upload each month."  This trend is already well in motion.  Comcast is setting its limit at 250 gigabytes per month without any overage fee stated as of October 1, 2008.  Cox Communications' monthly caps vary from 5 gigabytes to 75 gigabytes depending the subscriber's plan. Time Warner Cable Inc. is testing caps between 5 gigabytes and 40 gigabytes in one market. Frontier Communications Co., a phone company, plans to start charging extra for use of more than 5 gigabytes per month."

Bit Pharma wants to make the active form illegal and turn its synthetic replacement into a drug!  Well, of course they do.
